38 days...

38 days until I leave for Thailand and I am sooo excited!!!! I got my passport with my Visa back in the mail today. It kinda remineds me of Burmas, its a stamp, not a sticker. I guess that must be because mot tourists who go to Thailand don't get Visas so they didn't develope a newer version. It's still cool non the less. Another stamp, and rather large one at that in my passport!

I had root canal surgery today so I didn't have to go to work Now root canals I can handle but root canal surgery is, well, different. When I was in elementary school I fell hard and chipped my front tooth twice and that permanently damaged the development of my tooth causing me to have to get a root canal now. I actually got a root canal a few weeks ago from my dentist but he couldn't finish it and sent me to a root canal specialist (I know what your thinking, Root canal specialist??? I didn't even know they existed. Join the club.) So today she cleaned out what my dentist did before and did a new root canal on me and then she had to go through my gums on the top (the surgery part) to clean on the infection and cap off the top of my tooth and now I have like 15 stitches holding my gums together and they hurt like none other. At least she (the endontist) was really cool I would totally go back to her if I needed to, although fingers crossed I hope I don't if you know what I mean.

I found out yesterday the 2009 All voyage reunion for SAS goes to Turkes and Caicos. I wish I could go so badly! I miss all of my SAS friends and I really miss being on the explorer. It's like a second home to me. I guess I'll have to wait until Reunion '10 :(
