One day down how many more to go????

I'm seriously exhausted. The first day of the new school year is now done. All the preparation has paid off, we were ready. I think it will be an interesting school year. I once again have a class of 23 second graders (like the beginning of last year). It's so much work trying to keep all of those 7 year olds in line. They're sweet though. Today involved mostly coloring, not to difficult. I couldn't do much teaching anyway considering they're building a brand new building right outside one of my walls of windows. I sure hope they put a wall up against those windows. It would be awkward to have windows (and a glass door) into another classroom.
THe Ministry of Education is coming on monday, tues and Wednesday to observe the school and make sure we meet their standards so everything is pretty stressed around here. I can't wait 'til they're done so we can just chill out a little bit :)
It's now 8:45 and I'm already ready to go to bed. Oh goodness.
